After installing the new In-Hull Transducer kit motored Halo out into the harbour (single-handed) to test the Clipper depth sounder. At shallow water worked perfectly but at 18 mts or so depth it started to flash intermittently. Recorded a video which I have sent to manufacturer for suggestions. May need to play with the gain settings. (Speed log worked a treat but need to calibrate).

Weather was fine and calm - 5 kts NW.

Coming back into the marine dock single-handed was a first. Used a line which I took with me as I jumped onto the jetty. Went pretty well altho came in a bit too fast so had to reverse a bit to slow down first which caused Halo to turn due to prop-walk. Need to practice more and keep speed down.
