Crew: Graciela and Geoff
Marine forecast: Southerly 10 knots, becoming northwest 15 knots early this morning, rising to 20 knots this afternoon. Sea becoming moderate this afternoon. Mostly fine.

Lovely fine winter days so decided to go out for a short sail. As Graciela still recuperating from her shoulder surgery, her crewing activity was limited to one hand. Left the marina at 1130 hrs put 2 reefs in the main and hauled up the No. 3 working jib. After various trimming of the sails we got speed up to 6.35 kts SOG while passing north of Pt. Halswell with about 17 kts of apparent wind. The return run we did up to 6 kts.

Motored back into the berth with Geoff doing the docking single-handed. Very smooth!

Total distance: 6 Nmi. Total time 01.33 hr. Engine hours - Beg: 59.0 End: 59.
