Marine Forecast: Variable 5 knots, becoming southeast 10 knots early afternoon. Sea slight. Fine.

Took advantage of a beautiful morning to go two-handed sailing. Crew - Geoff and Graciela.

Hanked on the No 1 Genoa and then negotiated our way out of the marina like experts!

After sailing with mainsail realised southerly wind was going to be a bit strong so pulled down the No. 1 and hoisted the No 3 jib and sailed perfectly across Evans Bay and past Point Halswell before turning back. Got up to 6.3 knots speed over ground (SOG) on the way back as measured with Sail Droid.

Put the new fishing rod out but no bites.
